At Dye Sub Design, we want every custom order to proceed smoothly, from initial design through printing and delivery. The following policies help ensure accuracy, clear communication, and timely production.
These policies apply equally to all customers, including returning customers.
A non-refundable deposit of $45 per swimmer is required before design work begins. This deposit is credited toward the final invoice. If the customer does not proceed with the order, the deposit is retained as payment for design services, subject to applicable law.
A written estimate for design work can be provided upon request.
Customer-supplied artwork must be original or accompanied by written permission from the copyright holder authorizing its use. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to reproduce submitted artwork.
Artwork may be submitted in JPG (.jpg) or Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format. A blank design template is available upon request.
Each order requires two separate approval stages:
Customers are responsible for selecting and confirming all garment sizes. A sizing chart is available upon request. DyeSubDesign can provide sizing assistance, but final sizing decisions remain the customer's responsibility.
Once the digital proof has been approved, the design will be scaled to the selected sizes and submitted for printing.
An invoice for the finished products will be issued when printing begins.
Printing normally requires 2–10 days, depending on current workload. Production schedules are estimates and may be affected by delays in receiving customer information or approvals.
Customers will be notified when their completed order is ready for shipment.
All outstanding balances must be paid in full before an order is shipped or released.
Custom-printed fabric is not returnable for changes of mind, design preferences, or other non-defect reasons, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
A printing defect is an error appearing on the printed fabric that was not present on the approved digital proof. Claims must be accompanied by a photograph clearly showing the discrepancy. Confirmed printing defects will be corrected or replaced at no additional charge to the customer, subject to applicable law.
Customer-requested design changes may result in additional charges. Changes requested after digital proof approval will be made at the customer's expense and may affect the production schedule.
Once a digital proof has been approved, the customer accepts responsibility for the approved design, colours, placement, and sizing specifications. This does not affect the customer's rights regarding manufacturing defects.
Shipping charges and applicable taxes are additional to the quoted product prices.
These policies apply to all orders, regardless of previous purchasing history. Verbal promises of payment or approval do not replace the required deposit or written authorizations.
Each organizational order must identify an authorized representative responsible for approving the order, specifications, designs, and associated costs.
